Principali Responsabilità
The Engineer shall work inside the HW/SW development team to verify the Thermal systems (i.e. ECU, HP, etc) and software programs for a Climate unit software embedded system for Automotive market.
The Engineer will manage the following activities:
- Requirement management and elicitation
- Create Test Plan where define the strategies, test bench, tools to be adopted during Testing phase
- Participate to peer review of test plan
- Review the test basis (such as System/software requirements, software Integrity level, architecture, design, interfaces) and evaluate the testability of the requirements provided by software engineers and customer
- Design test cases and create bi-directional traceability (according Automotive-SPICE) between test basis and test cases, create test scenarios for the test cases
- Execute regression/sanity tests or retests for the planned deliveries, log the results
- Log bugs found during testing and provide test summaries, as required, for each project deliverables
- Support the Embedded Software Engineer to run unit tests
- Create script for automated testing (CAPL, Python, C, wiring)

Requisiti minimi
- Computer Science Degree, Electronic Engineering Degree
- 4+ years of experiences in Testing System and Testing Embedded software in automotive area
- Knowledge of C/C++ languages, Matlab/Simulink
- Background in automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, etc)
- Requirements management (DOORS, RedMine tools)
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, ISO 15504 Understanding of control module embedded design – microprocessor peripherals, memory allocation, compilers, linkers, programming standards, etc.
- Skill about Hardware check and schematic verification
- Good understanding of microprocessors and microcontrollers (Renesas/Freescale)
- Knowledge of tools: CANape, CANoe, Green Hills Multi IDE and Debug tool
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools, peer review, Embedded Software tools such as NI Test Stand, NI VeriStand (for Automated Testing)
- Excellent knowledge of National Instrument Compact Rio and Labview, dSpace microautobox and controldesk
- Excellent fast prototyping by arduino environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- English, good Level Spoken and Written
